Elizabeth Cogshall

Certified Veterinary Technician

Elizabeth always knew that she wanted to help animals and be their voice. She enjoys being their advocate and making sure that they are getting the care they need.

Elizabeth grew up in Pleasant Prairie, WI. She moved to Denver, CO to attend Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology where she earned her Associates Degree. She soon realized that she wanted to further her education and went back to school to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Technology Management.

She enjoys learning how to “read” a patient to better treat and care for them. Along with seeing how nutrition and environmental factors can play a part in the health and behavior of animals. She had an opportunity to swim with manatees and truly experienced peace swimming with the gentle giants. She can see how sailors mistook them for mermaids.

She has a cat named Groot and a soft coated Wheaten Terrier named Sherlock. They share a home with her sister and her two dogs. Mozart is a Chow mix and Zoe is a Shepherd/Chow along with her cat Arty and two turtles. In her free time she enjoys painting, swimming with manatees and spending time with her family and fur babies.
