Sue Arndt

Practice Manager

A native of South Milwaukee Sue is the youngest of six children.  Animals have always held a special place in her heart.  As a child her fondest summer days were spent on two of her relative’s dairy farms, feeding calves, chasing kittens and asking endless questions.

After graduating High School, she started working at a local animal hospital as a receptionist.  During her years there she worked her way from the front desk to lead assistant and eventually Practice Manager.  When the doctor she worked under for over 30 years decided to retire she decided it was time for a new challenge and joined Prairie Side in the spring of 2016.

After marrying her husband Jeff they set roots in Caledonia. Their family consists of two young adult sons and a pit bull named Romeo. Now that her sons no longer have her running to activities she and husband enjoy volunteering.   After adopting Romeo from Brew City Bully Club they signed on one of their breed ambassador teams. You can often find them at local pet events and parades. Sue & Romeo are also a certified therapy dog team with Therapy Dogs International.  They can often be found visiting their friends at a local nursing home.

Sue has also been an active member with the Wisconsin Veterinary Practice Managers Association for many years.
